Ren & Daniel | Johnny Rockets E-session

I had the pleasure of spending one afternoon with Ren and Daniel, a couple that will be getting married next year. I couldn’t wait for their session mainly because I knew how much fun we would have. The couple had some other ideas before they decided to shoot at a local Johnny Rocets but I must say this was perfect. With their stylish and matching 50s styled outfits they fit right in. Constantly giggling while sipping on their shakes, they seemed like on their first date. We had tons of fun not to mention all the attention. Everyone was curious to see what a girl dressed up in black with a seductive black birdcage vail and RED lips and polka dot pumps was doing there.
I loved the couples energy and as we left Johnny Rockets we still didn’t know where we should continue the evening but a quick comment from Ren’s mom about a train station that was close by was all we needed.
It was perfect, I loved the light and the colors.
I can’t wait for their wedding it will surely be a lot of fun!

Agnes & John | Married

We shot Agnes & John’s wedding a couple of weeks ago at the beautiful Planting Fields Arboretum on Long Island. The day started out in Queens, where the bride along with her bride’s maids started the day off with a toast. After the ceremony we followed the bridal party for a leisurely walk in the beautiful gardens, where we were able to capture the group having fun and constantly joking.
The reception followed at Leonard’s in Great Neck.
We wish them a bright future together!

Jessica & Ray | Married

We had the privilege of shooting Jessica and Ray’s wedding a couple of weeks back. A wonderful couple that have become our close friends. Now I don’t imagine our lives without them, and I’m proud to call them dear friends, as dearest as it gets.
This wedding has been in the works and talks since we met them in October of last year. So when the big day came, I felt butterflies as though I was the one getting married. Jessica doesn’t know this, but when she was being walked down the aisle by her mother and uncle, I cried and tried to hide the tears by holding my camera closer to my face… She looked so beautiful and I just couldn’t help it.
They are truly amazing and we wish them all the best in their future together.

We are looking for 3, hip, fun, outgoing couples that we can collaborate with to make a LOVE STORY/ENGAGEMENT film. This isn’t going to be just any Love Story – this will be crazy, totally out of this world story about a unique couple. Spontaneous, wild, daring, crazy and romantic in its own way. We will also throw in an Engagement Photo Shoot. This is completely FREE!
What is included: a custom HD music video-style engagement film online and DVD, edited engagement shots (approximately 100), and of course the one of a kind experience.

Maria & Rob | Fort Tilden E-session

Rob proposed to Maria on a hot air balloon and so the couple wanted to incorporate that idea into their engagement session. We chose the location for its dramatic contrast and colors, but also for the serene seclusion from the hustle and bustle of New York so shooting at Queen’s Fort Tilden was perfect.

Bernadette & Nathan | Married

Bernadette & Nathan got married a couple of weeks ago in Ozone Park’s St. Stanislaus Church. The reception followed in Russo’s on The Bay in Howard Beach, a neighborhood where the bride grew up.
The couple flew in from Washington DC mere days before their own wedding, having a very busy schedule, none of them really had the time to plan the Big Day and basically left it all up to the bride’s family.

Gosia + Jarek | Married

I’ve been a little absent from posting on here but I’m working hard on catching up and bringing you all the stories of these great couples we have met.

Gosia & Jarek are a one of these couples you rarely meet! Full of energy, constantly smiling at each other, joking and giggling, teasing. When we first met with them and listened as they shared their ideas for the big day, we definitely didn’t imagine it to be as crazy as it was. We knew they wanted Old Hollywood Glamour/Black, White & Red wedding, but when we saw the groom in his Top Hat with a red feather, we knew this was going to be a one of a kind day. The bride, beaming with dark red nail polish, innocently peeking through a classic birdcage veil, happily slipped on her beautiful dress. Red flats and a long black gloves were sure to make a statement and definitely made an impression on us. Later in the newly opened park under the Brooklyn Bridge, the groom stepped out with his cigar while the bride gently puffed away though a cigarette holder.

The couple wowed their guests at the reception with the room decorated with blood red roses and red feathers, a beautiful black & white cake standing against a backdrop of huge photo prints from their many adventures together and a grand entrance followed by the first dance to a collection of swing songs.

If only it were possible, I would stop it this minute, this second, just to hold her this small forever! The look on her face when she isn’t sure of something, the sweetest face when she tastes something new, the smiles as soon as she opens her eyes even if it’s only 5am….so many little moments that will forever be lost.
