On January 7th Wendy and Michael were married during a beautiful sunset ceremony in the sand at the ocean's edge in the Mayan, Mexico. The day was perfect and we were so excited to be there to capture it all. Wendy and her mom had their hair appointments in the BahiaSpa at the resort and then we headed back to their villa for all the preparations. The ceremony took place about 4:30 as the sunMary + Matt / Married - Twice! / Weddings in Orlando & St. Catharines

How lucky we are to have had the opportunity to not only capture Mary and Matt's amazing Disney Wedding, but to also be invited to their second wedding and reception in St. Catharines last weekend. With so many amazing images it was very hard to choose just a few to post here on the blog. On January 11th Mary and Matt were married in the Wedding Pavilion at the Grand Floridian Resort at Disneyboo + boobooface + one thousand cranes = love

Capturing Michelle and Mark's wedding day was such fun. These two are just so cute together and their love is obvious in all the little things; their nicknames for each other, the way they look at each other constantly and break into these amazing smiles. Over the past several weeks Michelle has continually written on Face Book about all these little paper cranes she was making for their weddingMary + Matt / A Magical Wedding at Disney

Let me start by saying this is NOT the official post about Wendy and Michael's amazing wedding yesterday in Mexico... seeing as we just got home about 4 hours ago from Cancun and are heading out in 4 hours for Disney to film and photograph Mary and Matt's amazing destination wedding I only have a few minutes to put together this blog post... so here is just one image from Mexico... the rest toReflections of 2009… Studio 67, a Year in Review!

The last day of 2009 is here, it marks the last day of an exciting decade and the birth of a whole bunch of new things at Studio 67. We have had an amazing year and have many people to thank. In just 13 days Mary and Matt will be married during their magical wedding celebration in Disney World. We are so honoured to be going along to capture all the details of their big day. Mary is a wedding planner and is busy planning many weddings for others, so finding time to get together for her own engagement shoot, with our crazy schedules, was a wee bit difficult. In August 2008 we captured Fatima and Admir's very special Canadian Wedding Celebration; they were legally married almost a year earlier in Bosnia and this was their opportunity to share their marriage celebration with all their family and friends here. A couple of months ago I was super excited to spend a few hours with them to shoot some beautiful belly shots during Fatima's last month ofOur Christmas in 3:35 / Happy New Year Everyone!

Well here we are on Christmas Day and what a whirlwind 24 hours it has been. It's tradition for my family to visit my mom's relatives on Christmas Eve. I can't ever remember a Christmas when we didn't get together and I have some pretty funny memories of being smaller than our children are now and spending a few hours visiting around the Christmas tree. Lots of laughs was a guarantee. EveryPlaytime with Yazzy ! / Baby Portraiture / Hamilton

Meet Yazmeen, an absolute doll! At 3 months her personality is really starting to shine and she babbles and blows bubbles none stop. Her mom had a very special dress on hand, it was sewn over a hundred years ago and has been passed down through the generations to baby Yazmeen. The smocking on it is so beautiful. I also noticed a very old teddybear that had been loved abundantly in his dayPlaytime with Sebastian / Family Portraiture

Over the past couple of months I have been fortunate to shoot 3 family sessions each weekend and have been focused on editing in order to get the finished images back to each family before the holidays. I've also been designing and ordering holiday cards for families as well as specialty prints and mounts. In doing all of this I just haven't been able to find the time to blog - several peopleAndja + Milan / Engaged / A tour through wine country

This afternoon I spent a few hours with Andja and Milan and we headed down to Niagara On The Lake for Part One of their engagement session. (Part Two happens next May - we have split up the session because we're working on a super cool concept film to show at their wedding next September).Milan loves sports, red wine and above those two things on the list is Andja. About 2 weeks ago we decided we'd take the plunge and invest in a new piece of equipment for the studio. Brian has wanted a Steadicam for an entire year but it wasn't something we could swing in the budget during our first full year of weddings. Instead we bought and used a much smaller, less expensive Glide Cam which did it's job but "gliding" just isn't FLYING! So we decided to sell theMadeleine + Mark / laughing till their cheeks hurt!

I spent a couple of hours with Madeleine and Mark yesterday to shoot some engagement photos and really find out more about them individually and as a couple. This is a very important part of the process of us shooting a couple's wedding although sometimes we don't have that luxury due to the restraints of time and distance. Amanda and Ryan are our July 10, 2010 couple and we're super excited to capture their wedding day next summer. During our initial meeting a few months ago I asked Ryan how he proposed and immediately Amanda's face lit up like a Christmas tree... well, maybe I should say jack-o-lantern. As it turns out their story was one of the most romantic I have heard so far. Ryan took Amanda out for dinnerMichelle + Justin / e-Fusion / Engaged and Stealing Kisses !

Michelle and Justin have been together for more than 10 years, but spending a couple of hours with them to shoot their e-fusion session it really felt more like being there on their 3rd date - these two are completely into each other - so comfortable and in love. It was great to capture their undeniable chemistry and passion. When their eyes met I swear I could see sparks and the smiles onJami + Lucas / Trashin’ the Dress (and suit)…

We had so much fun shooting their wedding in September and were super excited to reconnect for their Trash the Dress session. Lucas had a perfect location in mind, the Hermitage, located within the Hamilton Conservation Area in Ancaster. It was quite a hike through the freshly soaked forest to reach it but so worth every step. The beauty of rain drenched leaves could only be matched by theTrick or Treat / Halloween 2009

Just a quick recap of the night! Cali, was a Groovy Girl, finally giving up her 3 year run as a princess; Rylie was still not feeling great after being sick all week, but didn't want to miss out on Trick or Treating so she just did a short stint around the block as a gothic something-or-rather and Taylor went as Bat Girl. A couple of weeks after Aly and Jay's August wedding we got together to have a little fun during their trash the dress shoot. The weather was gorgeous and we had a great time in the open fields in north Oakville and Mississauga. We ended up back at their place and that's when things between the two of them started to get a little steamy. This TTD is done in a completely different style from
