We filmed Kat and Stephen’s intimate wedding at Signature Gardens on April 9, 2010. I don’t have to say too much about their wedding because you can check out her wedding diary on Kat’s blog at www.persiankittykat.com/blog/

Kat is a master of design especially on a dime! She transformed Signature Gardens into a boutique of hot pinks, feathers, and black and white print and all in less than I don’t know- like 4 months! They had family and friends come in from out of town and everyone enjoyed themselves all night. Congrats to the both of them!

Lynn and Danny take the plunge! Lynn and Danny booked us two years before their wedding along with Jennifer, from Jennifer Alvarez Photography. They both decided they wanted the whole nine yards for their wedding and went all out! They wanted a love story a movie a recap, photo montage, the whole thing. We had such a blast filming the Entourage in the City with the whole group and Lynn was able to express her creative writing style. So when the day came for their wedding it was almost surreal because we were all building up to the big day! And of course, it was a success! Here is a whole day recap of their beautiful day!

Jose Antonio Echeverria Foundation Fundraiser

The foundation gives an opportunity to a Political Science student at FIU a chance at a scholarship. We are honored to have donated our services to film and photograph this event because it represents something very dear to our culture, our heritage and to our families. Maribel’s Quinces Highlights

Lights, camera , action! Maribel’s Quince was all about her being the superstar that she is. The Quince was a Chinese themed party with kimono croquettes, delicious home-made Chinese fried rice, and great company. We showed the music video at the party and it was a hit. I highly recommend making a music video for all 15 and 16 year olds, it was a blast! Here is a recap of the event.

Linda & Maxo Teaser

On April 5, we filmed Linda and Maxo’s wedding at Signature Gardens. We had a blast, they previewed the deluxe Love Story and people were really enjoying themselves. The wedding was as unique as the bride herself. Maxo surprised the crowd by serenading his bride with his choral group. Linda shared an emotional dance with her father that brought me to tears. Jennifer & Aldo

On April 4, 2009 we had the honor of filming Jennifer & Aldo’s wedding at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa on Collins. Jenny did not miss a beat with her wedding. The whole wedding was beautifully decorated from blue umbrellas, butterflies, and a breath-taking reception. It drizzled (my nizzle) right before the ceremony, but everything cleared up just in time to say “I Do.” We filmed a three camera shoot to make sure we captured every possible angle. Gus was on the steadi-cam, while Betsey and I were challenged by mother nature’s wind. We put together a short-short teaser for Jenny an Aldo on this blog for your viewing pleasure. The song is “I’m Yours,” and it has a laid back Caribbean feel that flows with the events of the day.

Maribel’s Quinces

In February we filmed a non-traditional Quince. Maribel was given the option to go to EUROPE or have a big Quinces, she chose Europe. Smart Cookie. Her whole family was not able to go on the trip with her, so they threw her a Quince party at home. Instead of the traditional dances at the party, Maribel wanted to do something different and that is where we stepped in. We suggested a Music Video to display at the party for her guests. We came up with a script together and she chose “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper. We looked at the original music video and incorporated some aspects of the original with a modern twist ( text-messaging, internet, cell phones). The original video can be found on YouTube. The Eighties are back, with a 2009 feel!

It was great fun and Maribel and her friends had a blast! We went to various locations in Miami and the weather was very cooperative. When we showed the photo montage that was accompanied by Martina McBride’s “In My Daughter’s Eyes” there was not a dry eye in the room. For the sake of time, we are only showing the video portion of the movie, but complied together with titles, music, credits, the movie was a success. As a gesture of gratitude we gave each one of the girls who participated a copy of the video so they can also look back at the memories they helped to create.

We want to thank the Cabrera family for being creative and willing to try something different!
