Weekend Getaway, Westin Bear Mountain

Victoria, BC The vast majority of Canadian weddings occur in the balmy and beautiful months of summer. If you're a bride with a summer 2008 wedding happening in July or August, chances are maybe you'll need a little 'getaway' to unwind before your big day. I have the perfect luxe retreat in mind for our BC readers and I'm going on a fact finding mission this weekend to scope it out for myself. ;) My hubby and I are taking a ferry over to Vancouver Island to visit the much talked about new Westin Bear Mountain Resort. It's a few minutes from Victoria and from the looks of the website I think we're going to have a wonderful experience. While I'm there, I will be taking a tour of the beautiful wedding facilities at the resort which I will report about on Wed when I'm back to my desk.
