Breakfast at Tiffany’s - Vancouver Launch

I had the delightful pleasure of attending the highly anticipated opening of the Vancouver Tiffany & Co store this morning! Press and industry insiders were dazzled with diamonds and delicacies at the newest home of the famed jewelry company. (For the last 15 yrs discerning buyers in Toronto have been the only other Canadians lucky enough to have easy access to the goodies in the ‘little blue boxes.’)
Of course I scoped out the engagement & wedding ring section and found no shortage of breathtaking rings. (Oh how I love my job!).
Referencing the 4 “C’s” *(Cut, Clarity, Colour and Carat) the helpful staff displayed two jaw-dropping rings that were both approximately 2 carats and set in the traditional Tiffany solitaire setting (in platinum). The difference? A 2.06ct/I Colour/ VS2 clarity could be yours for $30,400. The same size stone with a G/VVSI was priced at $66,500.
There was certainly no shortage of beautiful gift items for bridesmaids, your groom or even special keepsake items for your parents.
Conveniently located across the street from the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver (at the corner of Burrard at Alberni) I say grab a girlfriend and make a lunch date this weekend! Saunter into the world of fine things at Tiffany and indulge. Audrey Hepburn would be proud!
